Sand reduced building costs by nearly $1 million without compromising the quality of the community, which allowed the Owner to incorporate additional long-lasting features and improvements to reduce on-going maintenance expenses while still saving the project over $650,000. Sand coordinated with the Architect to certify the buildings under LEED, with the community building being certified as LEED Platinum. Centennial Commons features a LEED Platinum community building with an outdoor gas fire pit and grill. Each two-story townhome features a covered porch, in-unit laundry, and high-efficiency fixtures.
